It's a 50 inch but I had to dive into menus to turn off dolby or that could happen. I'm not near the TV today but yup, had to tinker with the audio settings to get it to play right.
Hello friends,
I am going crazy for the last couple of days trying to fix the below problem with my TV. Any help to fix it will be greatly appreciated.
My TV was working fine till 2 days ago when I decided to get a cable connection from TWC. I used to use the TV apps or a Chromecast to caste videos to the TV till then and everything used to work great. The cable also worked fine for the first day, but problem started from the second day. Whenever I disconnect all the devices, reconnect, and restart, the audio works for 3-4 seconds and then scrambled out to no sound. I have performed some troubleshooting steps and below is what I have found.
1. When the HDMI from the cable box or the Chromecast is connected to the TV, even the Youtume or Netflix apps don't have any sound.
2. When I remove all the HDMI devices from the TV and restart the TV, then sound works for the smart TV apps
I have already exchanged the old cable box for a new one, but the same issue continues.
