Sharp Aquos 32" LCD or Sony Grand Wega 42" LCDRP?

I am trying to decide between the Sharp Aquos 32" LCD and the Sony Grand Wega 42" LCD Rear Projection TVs. Any thoughts? Thanks

Depends on how big of a pic you want and what you watch. They are both good units but the bigger picture on the sony is quite attractive. If you watch alot of sports of fast action stuff the Sony will do better, it also will have better black level.

Thanks for the info. I do watch a lot of sports and would like a bigger picture. My cousin has the 55" Sony and the picture is fantastic. I have only seen the Sharp in store displays. The only thing that worries me is the lamp life of the Sony.

I have a sony 53 inch rear projection TV. Have had it for just under 5 years. The main video processing board broke 2 times already. Cost over $700 to fix. Poor reliability. I would switch to a different brand. I am switching to Mitsubishi DLP.

I bought the Sony Grand Wega 42" LCD Projection TV and I couldn't be happier. It has a beautiful picture and HD is awesome!
