Sharp 45" LCD's

May 20, 2005 6:00AM PDT

Can anybody, and I mean anybody explain the difference between the following Sharp LCD Flat-Panels:
LC45GX6U
LC45GD6U
LC45GD4U
The reviews via CNET is the same for all three models which is of no help. Other than the obvious visual of speaker placement there is no indication of difference or recommendation. Serously considering one of these Sharp's over a Samsung LTP468W.

It is very frustrating to find the differences. On the LC45GX6U, all your cables, wires and connections go into a separate box. Then you only have one cable going to the TV. On the LC45GD6U all the connections are made directly to the TV, mostly in the back. Having the separate tuner box is a big advanatge, such as being able to hook up a PC on the fly.
The LC45GD4U has speakers on the side instead of the bottom and has no separate connection box.
