Sharp 32" LCD at Costco for $1500??? Too good to pass up??

Aug 19, 2005 12:00PM PDT

So I'm in the market for a new TV. Basically debating between a samsung DLP (the pedestal one), a panasonic plasma (42"), and an LCD, probably Sharp. Now, I basically have narrowed it down to the panasonic plasma, but it's still pretty expensive around 3g's at a circuit city or other retailers. I'm not too sure how comfortable I am with the online retailer thing, but we'll see. So then I'm in Costco and I see a Sharp Aquos 32" LCD for $1499. Is something wrong here? Isn't that too good to be true? Thanks for your input.

I did look at it brefily last night good picture.
Have you check Sharp's web site for info?
Costco seems to have a lot of plasmas right now. The Maxnet looks good.
Keep in mind one thing! Since the courts have thrown out the FCC broadcast flag about digital copy protection. HDTVs are now starting to appear with OTA HDTV tuners, so the TVs that don't have the HD tuners are bening discounted to clear invitory. John
