General discussion

sharing printer

Nov 22, 2009 1:03PM PST

Greetings all,

I have an HP LaserJet 6MP that is currently connected to a desktop running Windows 7 Premium 32. I'd like to share it with a laptop running Windows Vista Premium 64. The laptop can see the printer, but whenever I try to print something, I receive an error message. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,
Jason

What error message?

And tell about your networking skills. That is, did you know to create matching accounts, and more? I don't write any step by step since it would duplicate web content. That is, this is covered widely. I only need to know how you set accounts up.
