Sharing firewire drives with Windows

I have a G5-iMac with an external LaCie 250GB firewire drive. I'd like to be able to share this with Windows XP machines on my home network. I've turned file sharing on in the Services & Firewall preferences panel and I can access the iMac's built in drive from Windows with no problems. The FW drive(actually, it's partitioned into 2 volumes, one for OSX backup and the other for general use(video editing etc)) doesn't show up on the XP machines, although I can see both FW volumes fine on Macs running OSX or OS9.

I have similar problems with mounted disk images - again the volumes show up fine on Macs, but not on Windows.

Any help greatly appreciated - I think it may be something to do with Samba

Thanks
