When I need to look that up I check http://crucial.com or the maker.
As to sharing a wifi connection I just did that on a recent travel. I used a cheap wifi router and to pick up the wifi I use this device plugged into the wan or internet port of the wifi router. -> http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?event=viewProduct&cid=5&scid=30&localeCode=EN%5FUSA&pid=498
There are other models like that out there. A "gaming adapter" works too. The wifi router I used was a Dell refurb from Fry's at 20 bucks.
