you need to set up File and Printer Sharing on both PCs. You need to make sure the home network is the same name on both PCs.
Setting up email is the same, set up the email account on both computers. In other words, set up both PCs with the same email account information.
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach that person to
use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

we have bought a gateway laptop...we have a home pc set up. using cable dsl, have bought a lingsys-g router....everything seems to be working...can get shared internet connection.
my question is...
should i be able to open my internet explorer on the laptop and see the same favorites, etc. already on my home pc? also, should i be able to pull up our email on both computers? these are things I cannot do, but would like to..don't know if it is possible? just trying to figure out if this is how it is suppose to work? oh, running windows xp sp2 home on both computers. i don't know what other info might be needed. thanks.
