Share exp.with you: home page hijacker Searchdirs defeated!

My home page was hijacked by "Searchdirs.com", even I had manually removed.hta files wouldn't work. Just when I was desperated, I found an tiny link "uninstal" on its own page! I decided to take the risk. As I followed the steps, I have uninstalled, & my computer is now free of Searchdirs.

I tried to uninstall "Searchdirs.com" the way you did it by using the uninstall botton at the bottom but it didn't work.I am so confused and defeated that I don't know what to do but to keep on trying.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
