Shaky images on Laptop LCD (Samsung R519)

I bought a
Samsung R519 laptop last year which I kept boxed up until recently,
unfortunately the warranty has recently expired, the problem I am experiencing
is that every so often the images laptop screen become 'jumpy' and after some
time start running up the screen like the old vertical hold problem we had with
old TV sets some years ago.

I would be most grateful, for advise for a fix on this, or any leads for
a fix.
