SGH-T999 4G network battery drainage

by kukusaa / December 3, 2013 3:38 PM PST

Hi folk, I owned a SGH-T999 and if I turn my phone onto the 4G network it always runs down my battery much quicker than that when its on 2G network. Not sure if this is normal? Anyone else notice this same problem with their T999?

If you read more about it, 4G may do that. In fact each 4G phone I have does that. My guess is that turning on more radios takes more power.

Actually 4G uses much more battery to operate so that you're downloading data much faster. I usually leave mine on 4g and never worry about topping it off because of my mpj extd. battery.
