settings needed: SAMSUNG HL67A510C

by spec1alk / August 28, 2009 4:03 AM PDT

The Samsung HL67A510C is a 67" DLP with 1080p and 3 HDMI inputs. I do not believe it is an LED engine.

Here it is on Samsung's site (HL67A510 model):

My viewing room is a daylight basement (about 4' under ground). The room is 13' x 18' in size and has 2 windows in the back-right corner with wood blinds. The room is not very bright even during the day.

The TV is on one end of the room in the center and sits on the factory stand (about 2' off the ground), we sit on the other end of the room so we are about 13'-15' from the TV.

I am looking for settings recommendations.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
