Panasonic TC-P42C1 Settings
Jul 23, 2009 10:53AM PDT

Here are the settings I have after calibration:

Contrast: +78
Brightness: +58
Color: +54
Tint: 0
Sharpness: +60 (didn't really notice much change from the default...could just leave it at 50)
Color temp: Normal
CATS: off
Video NR: off

Advanced picture
MPEG NR: off
Black level: Light

I used a calibration DVD to come to these settings but I'm not a professional, just personal preference.

color settings?

I own the same tv model and I have used your settings to calibrate my television. So far I noticed that the brightness and the contrast are very good; but I wonder about the color setting you have arrived to. I have heard that color and tint are the hardest things to get right using just your eye so I want to know if you used any special equipment with your disk like a blue filter or did youjust set the color up to a point that satisfied you? The reason I ask is because sometimes I feel the colors are overblown or flesh tones are too pink or orange.
