Setting up values for recording vocal echo.

Jan 15, 2006 3:02AM PST

I would like to record a vocal singer using Audacity v 1.2.3. I need to know the proper echo settings ( delay time and decay factor) so it will sound more like a professional sounding recording.

Has anyone ever had experience with this this problem?
There are no suggested settings with the Audacity instructions.
