Question

setting up new pc

Sep 4, 2015 6:12PM PDT

I just got a new all in one PC...2 inch larger screen then the all in one I have now. Can I just unplug the power cord and ethernet cable from the old and plug into new and then follow the set up prompts???? Is it that easy (I hope)

What does your User Guide say? It'd be a mistake not to chk

If they both use the standard 110 volt AC cord, I don't see why that would be a problem, but if they don't, you'd just be asking for trouble if you don't use what comes with the computer. And by all means check that user guide!

Good luck.

...may require a driver however. Not knowing anything about your make and model, not to mention not having your user guide, I couldn't say. I can say that most any corded mouse should work. Again though I have to say check the user guide for that. Contrary to what some folks think, it won't give you leprosy to read it! Wink

without knowing anything about the two computers, there really is no way to know. If it is a standard computer power cable, then most likely you can. If there is any type of transformer in the plug or in the cable, then you cannot. To be sure, check the users manual.
