Question

Setting up Filelink in Thunderbird

Oct 13, 2018 1:30PM PDT
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/filelink-large-attachments provides the following instructions:

Configuring Filelink:

To use Filelink, you must first create a new account (or configure an existing account) with an online storage service provider.

At the top of the Thunderbird window, click the Tools menu and select Options, or click the menu button fx57menu and choose Options.
Select the Attachments panel and choose the Outgoing tab.
Click the Add button. The Set up Filelink panel will open.
Select the desired service provider from the drop-down list.
Choose Box, click Set up Account, or click the Get a Box account… link to create a new account.

--------------------------------------

After coming to the step, "Click the Add button. The Set up Filelink panel will open," the "Set up Filelink panel" unexpectedly said: "The current version of Thunderbird allows only one account from each online storage device" and the "Set up account" button had been grayed and rendered inoperable.

From Box's web site, I had opened a Box account and inserted a couple of my jpg files in it, which I would like to attach to an email. (Box is the only cloud storage facility I have.)

I feel sure that Thunderbird must be providing the FileLink facility (using Box) as its above instructions said. So I cannot fathom what the problem is.

Can you help?

Thanks.
