Setting up a PCTV USB2 device from Pinnacle

Pinnacle PCTV USD2 capture device is displaying a second copy of the video image at the bottom of the screen. It is as though the video image is trying to display the same image twice, but is only displaying the top 20% if the image a second. How do I configure the PCTV eliminate the image at the bottom of he screen. Other than this ghosting problem at the bottom of the screen the unit is working correctly, and the picture is clear. I have emailed Pinnacle on this problem but they do not reply to my question.
