I am wondering if channel 47 is actually put out by the box. I have a question. Is "AV-IN" on the tv where the antenna use to be connected in the old day?
I have a Polaroid FLM 1511 TV that (I THINK) was manufactured before digital tv (prob around 2005-2006). I bought an antenna and a converter box but cannot get it all to work together.
Convert box is an Insignia NS-DAX2. Antenna is RCA ANT1400F. Not sure which wires I have crossed but would appreciate some help. AV is NOT my thing. Here is additional information:
1. Antenna is connected to the AV in box on the converter box. However there is another port for "AV IN Ch 3/4". Nothing seemed to change when I changed the port to the AV IN Ch 3/4 port.
2. I cannot get the tv to move off of channel 47 to channel 3 where I think it is supposed to be.
3. When I look for an AV-IN input source on the tv, I don't see it. I only have these choices: TV. d-Sub, Video and YPbPr.
4. The video cables on the converter box are connected to the color-coded "AV-IN" section on the back of the TV.
Supposedly if I have it all connected correctly when I turn on the converter box the set up wizard should come up. It does not. In addition I did a channel search on the TV and it did not find anything.
Any help would be appreciated!
