The former British spy who leaked an explosive report about Donald Trump and Russia has gone into hiding, according to British and U.S. media reports.
On Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal identified the dossier’s author as Christopher Steele, a director of London-based Orbis Business Intelligence Ltd., whom the Journal said declined repeated requests for interviews through an intermediary. Another Orbis director told the Journal he wouldn’t “confirm or deny” that Orbis had produced the report.
The Telegraph reports the former M16 agent, a Russian expert, fled his U.K. home on Wednesday and was “terrified for his safety.” A source said Steele feared a backlash from Moscow and that he went into hiding before his identity was revealed.

WARSAW, Poland — American soldiers rolled into Poland on Thursday, fulfilling a dream some Poles have had since the fall of communism in 1989 to have U.S. troops on their soil as a deterrent against Russia.
Some people waved and held up American flags as U.S. troops in tanks and other vehicles crossed into southwestern Poland from Germany and headed toward the town of Zagan, where they will be based. Poland’s prime minister and defence minister will welcome them in an official ceremony Saturday.
“This is the fulfilment of a dream,” said Michal Baranowski, director of the German Marshall Fund think-tank in Warsaw. “And this is not just a symbolic presence but one with a real capability.”

...an all American manufacturer, located in Maine, my wife's home state, and also the official supplier of all weather.com clothing items for their people in those outside weather vignettes. Notice the blue jackets and slickers they wear. If Trump is praising them, it's due to good product and keeping it American and it's good when someone who does that gets noticed. While other businesses were going overseas and sending back cheap knock offs of their formerly quality made products, LL Beat stayed here in America producing quality goods and their business actually grew and grew, I believe due to that and the continual quality of product they were able to produce HERE. Other business still located overseas should observe their success and follow the example.

The company was already facing a boycott from liberal customers after reports that Linda Bean, a granddaughter of the company’s founder, had donated thousands of dollars to a political action committee that supported Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign. The donations turned out to be illegal.

The owner is a Trump supporter and she's sticking by him too. There are as many Trump supporters as Hillary and most of Trump's can afford to buy more, so LL Bean is in a good position, politically. Although the article is NYtimes, the reporter seems to be an OK person, reasonably fair in his stories I checked on. So far he seems to just report and leave the opinionating out of it, although I'd be surprised if he's a Trump supporter.

I hope all those Liberals who are upset will donate all their LL Bean stuff to Goodwill, so those less fortunate than they can buy it and have better stuff than those Liberals usually donate, if they donate at all. It's a living place for many. You think residents should leave because it's owned by Donald Trump? Look, I don't care how many silly Democrats cut off quality in order to buy sub standard stuff instead, all over politics, but if they want to do that, more power to them, and more great stuff for us who choose NOT to act so foolishly. Recall last month when Trump Tower was evacuated because of a suspicious package?
Since him and the family will be staying there occasionally AND the security will be there "continually for the next 4 years".
Many people like to know when they get off work and they come home...they don't have to be concerned with a "suspicious package" preventing them from getting them into the building and sleeping in their own bed.
Also, recall TheRUMP commenting about small cameras and microphones being easily concealed (ONLY in Russia?)....
Do you think American intelligence wouldn't use THAT technology in the building where POTUS is living with a bunch of "strangers"?

Do you think this type of security is available ONLY to Trump and his 'home'? Every living ex-president (and their immediate families AFTER they die) continue to get Secret Service protection for the rest of their lives, and that includes blocking road access to neighbors' properties (and most have multiple 'residences' that they move to off and on). It's an inconvenience people adapt to. The only difference is that Trump Tower IS their 'permanent' residence and one used most often and will be again after he leaves the WH and since it's smack dab in the middle of a very large city instead of being a private 'home' somewhere, the air traffic ABOVE it also hinders regular air traffic....but air protection is still given to all ex-presidents as well.
BO has a FENCE under construction around and in front of his new 'property' in DC about a mile from the WH....blocking sidewalk traffic from 'the folks'. Since sidewalks are considered to be public property and the taxpayer money is used to maintain it, I don't understand how permits were given to block that access but nobody is talking about THAT inconvenience....at least at Trump Tower, other residents can actually get INTO the building to their homes.
