Set up Dual boot?

Can a dueal boot for one of the Linux systems be performed on 8.1?

but if this a newer computer you will have to go into your Bios and change your UEFI to corporate stable mode (I think). The Mods have more experience than I though .....Digger

Before you do anything, create restore media, test the restore media (I have a few models it failed and those are still under discussion with its maker.) And then we are ready for the BIOS change to turn off secure boot, turn on Corporate Stable Mode and see if it still works.

At this point the usual Ubuntu can be installed.

that you have the computer set up to turn off and not sleep or hibernate. took me forever to get that set up on Windows 8. Hopefully 8.1 is better behaved.
