Set # 2

Hello,

I am pretty sure you remember me and the problem i had with my LNXXA500 i had severe flashlighting (Screen Uniformity Problem) in the two upper corners of my television set that would only get worse the longer the TV was on.

I had three techs come to my house and they would not help me so Samsung sent me a replacement TV, the LNXXB530. I loved this set but after about four days of owning the set it seems to have developed the same Flashlighting but worse! this time in all four corners.

If i call Samsung would they just offer another replacement or are they likely to give me a refund this time?

I really love this set too, it's such a shame.-

iVersatile,

Of course I remember you. Happy

I would definitely recommend you take it up with ECR (via 800-SAMSUNG). That's something that you'd have to discuss with them, so I'm kind of limited to what I can say in that matter.

I was really hoping you'd come back and say that everything worked out, but I'd like to see you get taken care of.

Keep me posted.

I was loving it for the first three days but just last night as i was watching Quantum of Solace and it was playing a dark/dim scene i noticed it in all four corners, and this was with backlight at 3. =( it's as if the panel is being pinched on all four corners.

I would rather it be fixed than replaced. Samsung has already done so much for me. I really do appreciate that they went as far as replacing my whole set completely.

iVersatile,

You could request that they come out and change out the panel. Again, that's an ECR issue, but I imagine they'd rather fix it if you're willing to do that.

Keep me posted.

Sorry man. Glad to see you hanging in there. Can you ask that
they open up and test before shipping you another one? I think
that would be the least they could do to keep you as a customer.
