Every now and then I check to see if std. broadband is available in my rural area. It has always been negative only dial-up and satelite only services. I already have good dial-up but sorely need hi-speed when the the service becomes available. The last time, I got a "postive" response and filled out the order form and got a "confimation #", etc. but to no avail. Upon checking today, they have no such confirmation# and checking again if the service was available, SBC/AT&T Yahoo was not present or listed, so go figure. What??? up with that?
FYI - I do know Verizon by a independant service is offering Verizon DSL, but I hestiate to deal with 3rd party ISPs. I'm just in that border area of decent DSL offering, but on the outside. Well, just a open piss&moan on not getting service, even when not hooked-up, they don't even know me from the paperwork. -----Willy
