I'm only vaguely aware of this issue. But the problem revolved around the OEM agreement Dell had on the product. To may matters more fun, your warranty may be over and along with it the access to Dell fixing this one.

To help the forum find what the issue was and articles about it, please supply the EventID produced during the crash. Use the Event Viewer and use Start, Help and Support if you don't know what the Event Viewer is.

Be aware the the SB version of Office could require its own SP or SR and we get to find it.

Another issue is a recent trojan/malware broke copy/paste and could cause your issue. It's not indicative that this is your issue at the moment, but all pests should be expelled if you want this to work. Here's my usual note:

Parasite removal programs.

If one does encounter an issue, its always been damage done by the MALWARE. The most common issue being Layered Service Provider replacement which you can use LSPFIX (Hint: use http://www.google.com to find).

The thread has follow on discussions about new links if you don't want to use Google to find an item.
