Too bad u didn't hit the copy button instead. I would dish out some dough and go to a data recovery place and let them have a crack on it. Man I'm not going to lose my temper so I'm just going to leave it at that I have no solution for this.
Before i begin, i kinow i have created this problem myself and any getting out of it is probably going to cost so please no berating me for my own idiocy, i am suffering enough.
I was recently reorganising images into new folders on my external Hard drive which holds 50% of my digitial images (i am pro fotographer.
I opened one file in windows, selected all and cut the files ready for pasting.
Before pasting i deleted the source file.
Then when i went to paste the images, my F drive window flickered then became suddenly empty.
I try to paste elsewhere and the clipboard contents have gone.
So i unplug the drive, plug it back in and it takes a while for the '"my Computer" window to register it and now it shows no contents/no files.
When i click for properties on the F drive i am shown that there is no disc space registered
I have some Easeus data recovery software. This will not read the drives existence. I downloaded Stella Phoenix software to determine whether there is anything left. It scans for the logical drive, tells me there isnt one, then does a full scan at the end of which, the message reads ''no valid logical diskdrive found. Serious disc corruption''
So, how up that proverbial creek am i?
Thanks in advance
