Serious Problem

Nov 28, 2004 3:13AM PST

Ok, I've had a couple installation problems and I need to use system restore. Problem is, when I open system restore, the window is just blank. I've tried restarting with no luck.

I think there is some sort of scripting problem because I can't open emails in hotmail and certain banking sites will not let me log in.

I noted IEFIX which cures the minor ills.

You may need to use it.

Try starting the computer in the safe mode, by rebooting and pressing the f8m key to see if this works to get you a picture. then make your changes there.

Thanks R.Proffitt, IE Fix did seem to work! Hotmail and everything now work like a charm. I have one more minor problem, whenever I open Word, it starts a intallation process for Norton Antivirus 2005 and I have to click cancel several times in succession to open Word. I did try to install Norton but uninstalled it because it was messed up. (This was a real version, not an illegal version). This happened with Sonic Record now but is gone now.
