If HP dropped the ball this badly for me and left me with a non-working laptop for 6 months, they are out of the game.
-> But are you moving across borders? If so, many makers have rules about out of country of purchase service. Electronics is fairly reliable but not enough to write it will work without any trouble for years. Be sure to get those warranties in hard copy so you know what they cover and where. Some folk get upset over the TTR numbers. TTR is Time To Repair. That is usually a week to longer. So be sure you know this going in.
Hi guys, I've been on the market for a new high-end laptop, that'll last me for the next two years. I'd like for it to be able to emulate MY DESKTOP at all times or better.
I'll be using it mainly for Adobe software's, C4D, Maya, and some Maxed out game settings from time to time(FFXIV, Witcher 3, GTA V, or whatever game I feel like playing in the next 2 years).
I'm still looking around but these are the two I've looked at so far.
If you guys have any 15" 2K(1440p) screen laptop recommendations that's around $2200, I'd love to see it, and add it to my choices.
I want my investment to be worth it for the next two years. Any adjustments are welcome, for my current desktop and needed PC. I'll be heading out of the country in December, and have Animation class projects to bring with me, it'd be nice if it could handle the workload.
Thank you all, I hope everyone can give an opinion on this.
