Why no additional info about the updates????
by hanssonrickard / September 15, 2009 5:52 AM PDT

But how come that there is no info on the download pages for what the updates are actually doing?
What is new, what is bugfixed and so on. The same goes for the swedish download pages, no info about the actual update.

Odd isn't it.
- I don't notice anything different with my TV...
- Though, maybe, there are less lip sync issues... I've not noticed any in a while.

No DTS support
by hanssonrickard / September 15, 2009 6:16 AM PDT

By the way, why no DTS sound support in Medi@-TV for the UE46B7xxx series TV?

AC3 5.1 seems to work as it should, but many MKV files are coded using DTS sound and it would surely be an trivial/easy task to include DTS codec into the firmware.

I have seen a lot of requests for DTS sound support, at least to be able to bitstream it through the toslink to an external receiver that can take care of the actual uncoding.

Another new firmware

And another update has been released, at least by Samsung UK.
- I wonder what this one does.

Hopefully has BBC iplayer!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
