Question

Seperate or have multiple iTunes media folder locations?

Basically, I have movies and I have music. My question is, since movies take up SOOO much space, is it possible to have 2 locations of iTunes media folder?

I want to put my movies on an external storage device and keep my music on the computer, so that, when I plug in my external harddrive, iTunes will look in there and display the movies that are stored.

Secondary question: If I play movies straight from an external hard drive, will it affect movie quality and/or performance?
