Sounds like there is either a incorrect email setting or you are not connected to the internet.
Do you have the Wireless & Cell version of the iPad or just the Wireless one?

fore some time I have been unable to sent emails from my iPad or indeed reply to incomming emails, can anybody suggest a reason for this all I get is the message that it has been placed in my out box, I get the same result when I use the sim card as with my normal ISP and they were no I help either
