Sending contact info to by phone form my PC via Bluetooth..?

Jun 12, 2008 12:25PM PDT

I have a Samsung M520 that is supposedly able to send contact information back & forth via Bluetooth. If I get a USB Bluetooth adapter for my PC, does it come with an address book program?

If not... Can I get some good freeware out there?

Paying Sprint $5/month for wireless backup service is a load of bull if I can do it myself.

When the output goes to the Bluetooth adaptaer, what inputs it to a program? Is it a text/*.csv file?

I'd like to know how the whole thing works.

You crossposted so many times.

That I'm unsure which post you'll read. So research this with google and go get your bluetooth working. Remember that free stuff is without support so some will complain that no one helps them.

I'm not getting anything from Google that's relevant... that's why I posted here. Also wasn't sure which forum to put it in... as it's related to PC's, accessories, and cell phones.

Open Contacts

I found this too: http://www.fonlow.com/opencontacts/

Looks like a pretty decent program.

Apparently, I needed to search "PIM" or "Personal Information Manager" to get what I needed.
