The only sure way is to either keep the old drive or use tools like DBAN then reload the OS and drivers.
There is NO tool made that you could "make it clean" and avoid the OS reload.

Hello everybody,
I just recently bought a new Dell Studio laptop and now I'm selling my Dell Inspiron 1405. I would need some advice how to clean up my hard drive, so I don't have any personal info left there when I sell it. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.
