Question

Self amplified headphones static

Apr 4, 2015 8:44AM PDT

My self amplified headphones sound great in my stereo and phone. I plug them into my tv and while I do get sound it's very quiet (even cranked up) and a lot of over lying white noise. Anything I can do about that?

Can you provide us with the model code of the television you are using the headphones with?

How do you have the headphones connected to the television?

The manual says 5 6 series. I do not have the numbers listed under it, but can get them if needed.
I have the headphones in the audio out hole that is right next to the IR out hole.

I can hear the TV it is very faint and has the white noise overlay...

Thank you!

Can you go to Menu>Support>Contact Samsung. The model should be listed there for you. I would love to look into this further.

I have. Both sets of self amplified do the same thing. Regular headphones don't pick up anything.
