My little one passed away a little more than a week ago today. She was just a smidge over 15.
I'd like to create something of an “eternal flame” memorial for her. I'm hoping you might help me find something that doesn't have to be plugged in, so it would look ike a reg. frame and allow me to place this tribute just about anywhere. The display needs to be at least 13” diagonally, should be able to play audio and fairly lightweight.
I'm appealing to CNET forum members b/c I need to start/finish this asap.
From what I understand, digital pic. frames may be falling out of favor since most people store their photos on their phones or tablets? I understand that larger sizes with audio included are out there, but may be tricky go find/buy...and...they usually have to stay plugged in constantly (I'd like to hand this video album of her life on the chimney/mantle—it might look a bit off w/ 10 ft. of wire snaking away from it.)
I've read about digital art canvases. They don't seem terribly available and they cost a bit much, but...they can be hung anywhere, there are no wires, they can run continually w/o over-heating (only I'm not sure if they offer audio.)
A tablet in a pic. frame would be fairly ideal—easy to find, audio output, you can build a frame around them to both hold them & look more like a framed picture, is capable of a myriad of functions...however. The few people I've spoken w/ seem to think a tablet might get too hot/overheat if run continuously all day.
I really need to buy something this week (I should've bought something last week, but the sorrow was just too much.)
Help, please?
I so badly want to honor her like this—showing her whole life in pics won't bring her back, but might take come of the sadness from waking up and seeing an urn everyday.
Thanks so much!
