Question

See the password of dorms' internet

Oct 21, 2015 2:19AM PDT

Hello, folks! I am in need of some knowledgeable people.

In dorms, there is access to the internet - they've given a username and password to students of their school (we're not, but I'll see if I can get one if this doesn't work out). My roommate has the password automatically saved, although he does not know it.
Since the password is saved there, is there a way to see it? There's only ******, but we need the actual password. That's what I need help with. Find a file with the password saved, or any other way to get it.
Thanks!

The common way, if you forget your password, is to ask a new one, either by clicking on some "forgot my password" link or by contacting the helpdesk.
Your roommate surely is not the only student who doesn't use a password vault to save all his password in a safe place, so forgets it when he needs it for a new device.

I happen to know a program like you're asking for, but most antiviruses consider it dangerous.
