Mil,

I haven't had that issue as it sounds like a minor glitch. If you really don't want History to remain, try adjusting the "Days To Keep Pages In History" to "0". Each day you start up, it will be removed. Recognize also that you can clear History by navigating to the "History" folder and deleting them all manually. (C\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\History)

In addition, you can disble the "Autocomplete" ability so web pages are no longer listed in the "Address" bar. While in Internet Explorer, click on "Tools/Internet Options/Content tab/Autocomplete button/UNCHECK all the boxes that you want.

Hope this helps.

Grif

I know that this is not a joke site,
but this one explains Windows pretty well.

The story goes like this: Bill Gates dies and is given a choice... Heaven or Hades... Hades is choosen due to the better party life offered in Hades. Time goes by and on a vist to Hades by our Lord to redeem lost souls he hears this voice calling to Him from a pit. Our Lord looks into this pit and sees our Mr.Gates under torment by demons. "Yes", asks The Lord. "What is this", exclaims Mr. Gates, "when I checked this place out to was all sun and pretty girls".

"That Son was the screensaver", responded the Lord.

Basically windows is pretty on the outside but ugly on the inside. Strange behavior is the norm.

You may want to try a different browser, such as Firefox 0.9.3 it will get you away from Mr Gates. I use it 99% of the time and feel alot safer.
Good Luck
