Security lock screen question

I have set a pattern to lock the phone (moto x).
But have changed my mind - though "None" is no longer an option due to a Admin control.

I do I allow for Admin control so I can change the security options?

I recall with my Galaxy Nexus there was a trick in Settings - I forget how and so far no look searching in Google.
