Question

Security DVR

Why aren't there any security DVR reviews on CNET? I'm in the market for a new one after being burned on my last purchase and it's hard to find reputable reviews.

These are now dime a dozen things.

The hard stuff is still there even though the price has dropped. I've run into folks that were burned but it was their self install wiring to blame. Tip? Set it up on a work bench before you run the long cables.

I agree, it is necessary to install on the desktop.

I had the unit up and running but after 4 months it crapped the bed. I tried to contact the retailer (Denver Security Group) who advertised the free tech support only to find that they went out of business. there was only sketchy info available online about the manufacturer LTD model 2316ME and I was unable to find any direct contact info. THAT is how I got burned!!!!!
I have found a new unit, thank you
