It can also tell the level of protection and control or privacy over call, messages, photos, videos. This all helps an individual to live easy and tension free of important things getting misplaced.

How does this help with issues like StageFright?

Although you have discussed about an app in your question, as it seems. However its not very clear which app you're discussing about as you didn't mentioned the name. Considering the context of your question, I can suggest you leo privacy guard which does the job quite effectively.

This C M Security advertises other apps so nothing I'd go near today.

The app needs to do what it needs to do and NOTHING MORE.

As it is, another junk app.
