Securing a PC and iBook using Linksys BEFW11S4 Problems

Hi,
I am hoping someopne can finally help me. I can secure my PC wirelessly but when I setup the iBook (wireless) I am unable to get a signal-so I have to reset my linksys. When I set up the security on the iBook I can't use the PC. I use the same password, WEP but I can't make it happen. Can anyone assist me with this issue? Do I need a different router?

That's a known issue. Let's take for instance my favorite pundit that continues to offer advice to disable SSID broadcasting. You can't imagine how much hardware won't connect after this setting is changed.

-> What to do? Find what security works for you. At the very lowest I can implement MAC filtering and lock out the usual suspects. Next I can try the lowest bit lever WEP and test it out.

Don't expect anyone to tell you setting X and Z to work with your combo. Or that I've cured most with a router firmware update.
