secure camera equipment?
Mar 18, 2010 7:05AM PDT

Just straight forward camera enthusiast stuff - lenses, external flashs, battery packs, bags.
I am getting concerned to leave this stuff behind at places and wonder what sort of protection can be used. I am not looking on big $$$ insurance policies.

Thanks,
-J

Carry them with you and don't leave them behind in public

There is no real secure way to lock and leave your equipment. Carry them with you is the best way. If you have to leave them in the car, then keep them in the trunk or at least out of sight from windows. If you have to leave them in a hotel room, then lock them in the room safe if available. However, hotel room safe is not secure enough for very expensive jewelry, for those you can use the hotel's vault or safe deposit box if available.

Security is very necessary for all things but outside for your home you shoud be look after all things such as camera or car. If we talk about house, we can use many security system or cctv cameras.
