Secunia and c:\saved data\...

Feb 18, 2009 2:38AM PST

Secunia has found a number of vulnerable programs on my xp (sp3) computer. Most, if not all, of these are in a folder that starts c:\saved data\...

Secunia does make reference to the possibility that remnants of updated programs can persist and states that if they are not in c:\program files\... it is OK to create an ignore rule.

I am looking for advice as to whether I can safely create ignore rules for c:\saved data\... programs or, even better, whether I can delete them.

Thanks.
