I looked at their web site; http://www.tenebril.com/index.php and their Support > Knowledge Base and saw two methods to uninstall, via the Start Menu entry for this/these products and via the Control Panel > Add/Remove programs.
However that last option in Vista should read Control Panel > Programs & Features, so their instructions are not up to date.
I also notice that they have a range of products, so I wonder if you uninstalled them all. This is what I saw in their Knowledge Base for "Uninstalling - "Why doesn't Add/Remove programs work?"
Why doesn't uninstall (or add/remove programs) work?
Windows has a security limitation that prevents running files from being deleted (if they were, your computer would become unstable). For this reason, you can't uninstall a program that is active on your computer. You have to make sure you exit the program you wish to uninstall before you uninstall it.
Many of Tenebril's products run in your system tray (the area at the bottom-right corner of your screen). Although they may not be obviously visible on your screen, they are in fact running--and can be accessed from their icons in your system tray. To exit these programs, right-click the appropriate icon in your system tray, and choose "Exit" from the menu that appears. You will now be able to uninstall the product successfully.
Other products may not run in your system tray; for these it's sufficient simply to close their windows.
This seems a particularly intrusive suite, and one I have not heard of before. It seems others have had this problem as well. When I Google Secuload.dll I see a number of similar links.
Be Warned - If you intend to Google this yourself please use the Firefox browser with the WOT, (Web of Trust), add-on installed and enabled. A number of those Google links show with a red warning symbol by WOT, meaning they are suspect and unsafe links.
Try one or all of these;
1] Make sure all components of this suite are uninstalled, using the KB guidance above.
2] Open a Run command, (Start > Run, or type Run in the Start search box and click the first option that is found), and type in MSCONFIG, then click OK. This will open the System Configuration Editor.
In this window go to the Startup tab. Look down the list of any entries that relate to Tenebril or it's components. Remove the tick(s). Click Apply then OK, then reboot the system. See if you can now delete that file. I wouldn't delete it straight away. Instead, rename it to Secuload_old.dll or similar and test how the system works for a few days, particularly after reboots.
3] Boot up into Safe Mode and try deleting the file from there. Again, don't delete immediately, in case that causes instability.
Good luck.

Hello, I noticed I have Secuload.dll in Windows/System32 and an Internet search revealed it has to do with Tenebril, which I uninstalled a long time ago. But when I tried to kill Secuload.dll with Unlocker in order to delete it, it said it is connected to MANY processes. I am a little bit surprised, as I don't even have Tenebril installed any more. What should I do to get rid of it and why does it affect so many processes?
Thank you!!
