This is a typical plea if someone has a drive over 137GB. Support for such is in XP SP1. Many won't get a new CD with the SP1 integrated in to avoid this issue (you?)
Install SP1 and see if the drive comes back. If not, the lesson is repeated...

I have a system that has been running Windows XP Pro. The system has two harddrives formated with NTFS. After reformating the C: drive Windows XP sees the second drive but doesn't asign a drive letter. Disk management only gives me the option to delete the partition. How can I asign a drive letter without reformating the drive. Both drives are still NTFS.
