by Foote000 / February 7, 2006 4:36 AM PST

My sencondary IDE channel doesnt read anything. My devices i tried in it are working properly hooked up to my primary IDE channel. Windows hardware says its working properly, but hell, it always says things are when there not. Im running an ASUS P4S800. Cheers.

Does the BIOS show what's connected to such?

Is the BIOS set to enable the second channel?

If so, it's time to shop for a new mainboard.
