Here I happen to have a Sony VAIO VGN-NW240F/T and a HDMI connected Samsung 2333. It's running Windows 10 so I could pull it up and see if I can summarize the setup to get 2 displays. If you have a failure well, there's system restore and if hardware, nothing will fix it.
There are folk that update drivers. Don't. Never update drivers just because. Have a good reason as drivers do not wear out.
Okay, so I guess this belongs in the hardware section...
I've had this particular setup for a while now, and it's always worked, but this afternoon, the external acer screen that is plugged into my sony vaio laptop refuses to display anything.
It turns on, and it clearly recognizes that it is connected, since the light turns from orange to blue and the screen turns a different shade of black.... if that makes sense.
I can drag things onto the second screen and I can even click on them, I just don't see them...
I would be really thankful if someone could help me... it worked this morning and it's really bothering me :/
Thanks in advance, Ben
