I installed a second hard drive in a

Disk Management?

If not, try that first. Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Disk Management. See if the drive is listed there and if so what state it is reported as.

Hi Mark, I appreciate your follow up.
I really meant device manager. I did follow up on Disk management and the disk reads: Satus: Healthy unknow partition: and below says, Disk 1Unallocated.

Thank you. Bud

In Disk Management right click that hard drive and see what options there are.

You should be able to "Create a new volume" then format it. Then it should be seen in Windows Explorer, (My Computer).
