Only the FORWARD Gears have Sycronizers..
Place the Gear Shift LEVER in 1st-GEAR and then go to the REVERSE GEAR/working off the 1st GEAR syncronizer.
I just changed a clutch on a 1993 Seat Ibiza, clutch it cable operated. Since the change, I have had difficulty engaging reverse. There's a horrible crunch when going to engage. I have tried making the cable more taut to ensure the pedal completely disengages the clutch, but this does not help.
Anyone have any ideas?
