Haven't seen such a pc yet. That said, my nod is to the newer GPU. The 960.

I'm searching for a gaming laptop (with a budget of $1,000 or something close to that). I have doubts with what is the best gaming laptop I can get for $1,000, I'm looking for a laptop with the best specs that I can get for that price. I have seen two laptops already on amazon: <h1 id="title" class="a-size-large a-spacing-none" style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: 400; color: rgb(17, 17, 17); letter-spacing: normal; font-size: 21px !important; line-height: 1.3 !important;"><span id="productTitle" class="a-size-large" style="box-sizing: border-box; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility; line-height: 1.3 !important;">ASUS ROG GL551JW-DS71 15.6-Inch FHD Gaming Laptop, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M (2 GB) Discrete Graphics</span></h1>
and <h1 id="title" class="a-size-large a-spacing-none" style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: 400; color: rgb(17, 17, 17); letter-spacing: normal; font-size: 21px !important; line-height: 1.3 !important;"><span id="productTitle" class="a-size-large" style="box-sizing: border-box; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility; line-height: 1.3 !important;">Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition VN7-591G 15.6-Inch Full HD 1080P Gaming Laptop / Intel Quad-Core i7-4720HQ / 8GB / 1TB / 4GB NVIDIA Geforce GTX 860M / Windows 8.1 / Bluetooth / Backlit Keyboard / 720P webcam / WiFi</span></h1>.
The ASUS is said to have a good cooling system and it has 16 GB DDR3 RAM (2x more RAM than the Acer), but it only has 2 GB VRAM. The Acer has 8 GB DDR3 RAM and it has 4 GB VRAM (2x more VRAM than the ASUS). What's better? I'm also looking for any other better option that is $1,000 or less. I know that desktops are the best option for gaming but I need a laptop because I need something that I can take wherever I go. I'm looking for a laptop that can run recent games like GTA V and upcoming games like Tom Clancy's The Division smoothly without lag (at medium or high settings).
