Question

Searching for TVs by EXTERNAL dimensions

cnet used to have an app that let you find TVs by their EXTERNAL dimensions (not screen size). When looking for a TV, the first question to answer is will it fit the limited space available?
I can't locate this app, and wonder if it is still on the site. If not, where can I get this information for all sets currently available?

Never found such.

I did find that 40 inch models are withing a few inches of each other. That said, I shop by best selling model then check specs.

Some retailers even provide carton size

A la Best Buy. This can help immensely IME. You shouldn't have trouble since the primary search category will not be size initially.
