Searching for files on ipad2

How do you search for files natively (without an app for that) on an ipad2?

Answer
Seaching for files

If your ipad is up to date then it should have a search option built right in, go to your homepage and press the home button once this will activate a search bar in which you can search for files such as email, music, and more. You can edit what you are able to search in settings. It should be under sptlight search. Hope this helped.

Searching for files

Thank you so much for your response, but I guess I should have been more clear ... What I am looking for is more of a directory feature similar to Explorer. Does anything like that exist for the ipad2?
